The Paint Sprayer is responsible for the application of solvent-based paints, stains and other coating materials on wood components. The Paint Sprayer is also responsible for color match verification and quality assurance of parts finished.

- Must be able to learn to measure out and catalyze material as needed.
- Must ensure the quality application of coatings to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Must keep supervisor and/or manager informed of the quality of parts received from other departments.
- Must be able to learn to maintain a spray application of 3.5-4.0 wet mils on all parts on a consistent basis.
- Must have the ability to produce and ensure a quality finish from start to finish.
- Must have a good "color eye."
- Ability to adjust spraying equipment to insure proper application of coating materials.
- Must be able to read and understand instructions and documents in English.
- Possess the ability to learn all species of wood used for production and finish colors by sight.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of the Essential Cabinetry Group Hazardous Communication Program.
- Learn and maintain knowledge of basic hazardous waste generator responsibilities.
- Learn to accurately label containers for paints, stains, cleaning solvents and hazardous waste.
- Properly dispose of used finishing products in the designated hazardous waste accumulation points.
- Adhere to all OSHA, EPA, federal, state, and local laws.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or its equivalent required with 0-2 years’ experience in related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to understand work instructions and directions in English.
- Good analytical skills.
